And it is a lot cheaper than embroidery.The classic mango design, tiny floral buttas and abstract designs for the contemporary eye are especially popular. Indigenous to Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and regions of Rajasthan, this textile tradition is not often associated with our city Kolkata. But today you would find a few people right here have made this art their own, like us.The wonder of hand block printing lies in the fact that you can bring in an individual element to it. You can place one block in multiple ways and the best part is you can really play with the design.
